Shipping Costs:
Shipping costs are always the responsibility of the buyer. All taxes, duty or legal formalities that must be paid for pursuant to California regulations, or those of an importing country or a transit country, are the responsibility of the buyer. The delivery periods are indicated as precisely as possible but are subject to transport possibilities.
Shipping options are:
- Dispela will source the best method to ship your purchase to you. We will contact you after purchase to finalize shipping details.
- Your own shipping arrangement.
If you source your own shipping arrangement. Dispela will not be responsible for any damage occuring during shipping.
- Store Pick-Up: You can pick up your purchase at our store during normal business hours.
Returns
Returns will be accepted within 30 days of receipt (based on the date the item was delivered) for exchange or store credit only.
The piece must be returned insured and arrive in the same condition as when you received it; in the same manner of packaging as it left the gallery. Please note that return shipping and insurance costs are paid for by the buyer.
Damaged Shipment:
We package our items VERY CAREFULLY to ensure there is no damage to the product. While we do our utmost to ensure your items arrive in a timely manner and in perfect condition, there are some things that are out of our control.
Our freight carriers handle your pieces with great care but it is important to understand that from time to time damages do occur. If your piece arrives damaged, the freight company reserves the right to have the piece repaired and brought back to the Dispela's standards at their expense. They do this by sending the piece to a furniture medic or back to Dispela for a repair/rebuild. If the freight carrier determines the piece cannot be repaired, you have the right to be reimbursed for your purchase from the freight carrier's insurance underwriter.
International Customers
In addition to the United States and its territories, Dispela accepts international orders. All orders of international origin are exported from the US in accordance with the Export Administration Regulations. Diversion contrary to US Law is prohibited. All duties and taxes will be the responsibility of the customer.
Regarding Dispela lighting devices:
All of our chandeliers and sconces are fully rewired with UL sockets and UL wiring. We guarantee that each piece has been tested to fully work prior to leaving our facility. Because of the frequent mishandling of lighting devices by electricians and individuals alike, we will not be responsible for any electrical problems pertaining to installation. If, upon receiving the item, you are unable to get the light to perform, we will be happy to council you to the best of our ability on how a problem might be resolved. We will not be responsible for repairing or fixing faulty electrical problems. We provide with each piece the basic parts required for installation by any qualified electrician accustomed to working with vintage and antique lighting.
